The schedule 3rd preliminary round UCL are around 18-19 and 25-26 August 2009. Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal , Stuttgard and Lyon will wait in the 3rd Preliminary Round against the winner from Glasgow Celtic-Dinamo Moscow, Anderlecht-Sivasspor, Sparta Prague-Panathinaikos, Shakhtar Donetsk-Timisoara, and Sporting Lisbon-Twente. The result of those matches will known on 7th August. If Fiorentina succeed to pass the 3rd Preliminary Round UCL, this become a back to back Cesare Prandelli’s achievement regarding Fiorentina participation in group stage of UCL.
